Stan’s efforts to join a country club prove futile (though Steve is invited to join), but things aren’t what they might seem to be when Stan discovers who the club owner really is.

Father Donovan (voice of Martin Mull) stages a Christmas play at the mall and casts Stan as Santa and Roger as Jesus. But they get into a fight and Stan is kicked out of church. Meanwhile, Hayley and Jeff adopt a child who turns out to be possessed.

Stan runs into an old flame (voice of Sharon Lawrence) from his CIA-training days and their romance heats up again. Francine’s plan for revenge leads to trouble—for Roger. Meanwhile, Steve inadvertently wears Hayley’s underpants to school. NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe has a voice cameo as himself.

Stan makes a desperate attempt to bond with Steve by creating Phyllis (guest voice Sarah Michelle Gellar), a busty blonde bombshell avatar to make Steve’s dreams come true

Stan wants to be a best man, so he plays matchmaker for Principal Lewis and the school superintendent (voice of Angelica Huston). Then he invites an old friend of Principal Lewis’ to the wedding. Bad move. Meanwhile, Stan meets Ricky Martin (providing his own voice), and that doesn’t turn out well, either.

Steve runs away from home after he’s beaten up by teachers at school because Roger (Steve’s overzealous legal guardian) gets the principal fired. Meanwhile, Stan and Francine’s vacation at the world’s largest water park proves disappointing.

When a hurricane hits Langley Falls and residents are urged to evacuate, Stan insists on sticking it out at home.

Stressed out by his family and his obligations, Stan decides to buy a hot tub to relieve his stress, but gets into hot water when he finds out the hot tub is evil
